Cliff Rosner Houston, Tx

I am 3-4 years younger than the author and grew up on Ocean Avenue between Kings Highway and Ave. U. These writings are so marvelous and accurate. Last month, I attended the 50th reunion of the 1959 class of James Madison H.S., just out of the writer's neighborhood. It marked quite a week for me and meant a week away from my Houston home. That's Texas not the Village.
I am doing some research on heroes of our childhood. Can someone document the last name and any family of George the Meadow Gold Ice Cream salesman who drove the 3 wheeler in our area?
Please offer any response or tips on how to complete my search. Thanks.
