Don Z. Block

I will quote this review for my colleagues in the English department at my community college in Blue Bell, PA. They've been beaten down by directives requiring them to meet outcomes rather than teach, to reach out rather than contact, to incentivize rather than motivate, to use rubrics, not outlines, to synergize rather than who knows what, and to get students to produce artifacts rather than write papers. At the moment, in this world of online teaching, we are trying to figure out what a modality is.
